Privacy Policy

Effective July 16, 2026

Gig33 is a working product name. This policy is a plain-language draft under review by counsel and will be finalized before public launch.

This policy explains what Gig33 collects, why, and your choices. We collect the minimum needed to run the platform, and we do not sell your personal information.

1. Information we collect

Payout and tax details (e.g., bank and W-9 information) are collected only when those features launch and only when you provide them for payment.

2. How we use it

3. Cookies

We use a strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in, and a preference cookie to remember your theme. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

4. How it’s shared

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the platform (such as our authentication and database host and payment processor), under contract and only as needed. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the platform and its users.

5. Security & storage

Your data is protected with row-level access controls (you can only ever read your own rows), encryption in transit, and least-privilege server access. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for it from the ground up.

6. Your choices & rights

7. Data retention

We keep account and transaction records while your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize them.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes update the effective date above. Continued use after an update means you accept it.
